Really enjoyed this one! Pretty easy, great for my dog, and well shaded on a hot day.
My recording is an out and back from bridge of the gods trailhead to the pinnacles. 1400 ft of elevation, 8 miles, approximately 3 hours. Lots of scarring from eagle creek fire, but lovely hike and the pinnacles is a great place to stop, explore, and take a break. I saw one other human on the trail...lovely time.
We started from the east side at Wyeth campgound and hiked 3.2 in to find camping. There are a few trickles about 2 miles in. We worried about finding a spot to pitch a tent but were able to get off the trail onto a powerline road. The entire section was a slight incline and 95% shaded. Candy flowers and Stellars Jay abounded.
