Love the trails just between the smoke in the air and the dust it was almost too much to be out there! Dogs Loved it though! Nice to go to off leash trails..

WalkingGreat!

Great trail. I suggest downloading the AllTrails map if you aren’t local. There are many paths. Also suggest going clockwise so you get to cool off by getting to the river more quickly. We went counter clockwise on a hot day which was not ideal. There is some shade but also plenty of sun and hot dusty trails. The dogs loved the river and being off leash. The river was beautiful.

we had a fantastic time with our pup, she loved the freedom of being off leash. all pups we encountered were well behaved. lots of shade, beautiful views, some elevation but all totally manageable. would definitely go back!

We spent a fun afternoon here with the doggo after arriving at LOGE. It was a short walk, maybe 1/3 of a mile, from the campsite to the doggo park so we got some extra steps in. There were a handful of people on the trails but it wasn’t as busy as I was expecting it to be. Nice hike and we’ll do it again when we come back to Bend.

Great trail to let the dogs roam off-leash. Lots of different scenery. Trail is pretty dusty/sandy, but to be expected. Heavily trafficked.

Best dog place I have found in Bend. Huge and really lets a dog run. Boys are always happy to go.

Wide-open trail with lots of doggos! Runs by the Deschutes River for a bit and even has some opportunity for bouldering.

fun family hike to take the dogs on. The entire park is off leash for dogs with tons of space for them to run on.

HikingMuddy

This is a very fun trail to do with the family and your dog(s). Fairly muddy, but it is March 1st. Our dog of course loves to roll in mud, so be prepared to bathe your dog afterwards. The good dog loop trail is 3-3.5 miles but there are a lot of other trails you can take in the area. The trail is fun because the terrain changes a lot, from woodsy to forested and then you come up on the river. Be warned this is a heavily trafficked trail on the weekend. I am sure during a week day there will be less people, but there are a lot of dogs so it feels like a dog park. DO NOT bring your dog if it is aggressive towards other dogs or people. Because you will be putting your dog and other dogs at risk.
