Beautiful and very remote. Definitely carry kitty repellant. Went in January, snow up to my hip. Views were incredible.

You will need good clearance for the last couple miles of road. There are sections that are more like a stream bed and there are snow drifts. I was stopped about a half mile from trailhead by a deep snowdrift. I snowshoed the whole way. The trail was in good shape, except the last third of a mile. The tree wells, incline, and show conditions were not safe. In a couple weeks the drifts should recede enough to make this doable!
