This trail gives you alright views of the canyon although i wish there was an easier way to get a good view of the canyon. Obviously its great that this is a loop. good trail to stop by on your way out of Crater Lake.

Quick heads up to anyone planning a visit here this week. The lake is of course breathtaking, but there is still quite a bit of snow up top, and some of the trails are still thawing out. We had our dog with us and they tell you at the gate which trails are dog-friendly, this is one of the only 4 in the park you can bring your dog on. However as of July 1, 2019, it appears to still be closed, they also didn't mention this at the gate, despite telling us this was one of the dog-friendly ones we could visit. We had to skip it and just ended up driving around the rim of the lake. It was also crawling with tourists today, and on a Monday no less, so I can't imagine what it's going to be like over this coming July 4th holiday weekend. You're bound to see dumbness of humanity out in full force, like climbing over barriers for selfies and feeding chimpmunks. Please remind people to respect where they are; a world famous national park and one of Earth's magical wonders. #nationalparkshateyou

My family and I did this trail when we were camping at Crater Lake. The views were spectacular.

Simple and easy with awesome views of a few pinnacles. Reminds me of a tiny version of Bryce Canyon. The trail goes on further with some signage removed. I'll have to find out to where?

Nice little kike with a view of some of the pinnacles. It is NOT ADA compliant at this time (Per sign at trailhead). Most of the trail is 2-3 inches deep in dust. I hate to think what it will be like with the first rains. National Park Service is actively laying down gravel to make it ADA compliant.

Quick hike through the trees offering some nice views into the valley below. Lots of ground squirrels!

This was the most uninteresting walk. No good views from this trail.

Georgeous and educational. The glen is carved by flowing water through pyroclastic flows from the volcanoes 7000 year ago eruption.

This is an easy, short and beautiful hike. There is essentially no elevation gain and the trail is smooth and obstacle free, allowing you to look at the scenery as you hike rather than having to constantly watch where you place your feet. Good views of the eroded pinnacles.
