This is a great little hike. It is a pretty quick incline in a short distance. There can sometimes be A LOT of blowdown to climb over or go around. Very nice hiking along the creek and then getting to the beautiful lake was great. There are a couple places to camp around the lake.

This is a nice hike for beginners like myself. Easy to find and follow. There are a few spots that need some maintenance and one bridge is a little broken but it’s still very cool and beautiful. No openings for views but getting to Oval Lake is worth it. Just know that it starts steep, “flattens” out a little bit then ends with some more steep. Awesome hike, do it if you have the chance.

This was a great little hike. It is a pretty quick incline in a short distance and still had some large melting snow patches to go through. There was also A LOT of blowdown to climb over or go around. Very nice hiking along the creek and then getting to the beautiful lake was great. There are a couple places to camp around the lake. I would recommend this as a start point and then when you hit Divide trail take a right and head towards Lookout Point.
