Muddy and super slippery and sketch in places but nothing your not able to maneuver carefully
Amazing hike. Land slide on the way up to the upper falls but nothing you can't maneuver through.
Trail is definitely tight at times and a little muddy in places, but well maintained overall. The views are beautiful and both waterfalls are cool in their own right. The climbs were manageable.
It was a great start ing hike for our family! There's a section heading down toward the falls that becomes a switchback. That area was quite muddy and narrow at times. The spray from the falls was intense and we got pretty wet. Maybe a better hike for a sunnier day. Definitely going back in the spring and summer!
uphill there, downhill back, very narrow trail makes for a hard pass during covid. the falls were gorgeous
At the beginning it was so sad to see all the burned surrounding from the fires. We hiked the lower and upper falls and it was stunning. Awesome parking,no bathrooms service people were respectful of Covid but we only saw a few hikers.
One of my favorite short hikes in the Gorge. Nice and Easy trek up the narrow path. Sad to see all the endless burnt trees. Everyone was very respectful with masks and the trail was super clean. The falls are beyond beautiful.
Trail is in good condition, only muddy in a few spots. Parking lot was full on a Thursday morning by 10.
Very much worth the hike! Narrow trail to pass back and forth in several places and about 80% of people wearing masks. Will definitely be back out there again!
Fantastic hike! So glad it’s open again and with all the rains it made for a really powerful falls. Got totally soaked crossing the bridge at the lower falls. Definitely super muddy so bring good hiking boots and a good rain jacket and be prepared to get wet! Also please observe the leash laws and pick up after your pets
Great hike. Elowah was super strong. A bit muddy but overall an easy hike. Excited to have it back open.
Only did Elowah today, wanted to cross the bridge this time. The falls were raging since it had just rained pretty hard.
