Short and sweet hike! This was one of our stops along the way to the hanging rock hike. The forest is beautiful and you get to the waterfall in no time on this one. It's quite easy to go off the beaten path at the end to explore the waterfall closer too.

Seemed much shorter and not as steep as I thought from description. We only registered 40ft elevation change. Maybe the described elevation was to the big tree. We only went to the falls. They were beautiful!

Nice little (short) hike off the main road. Hike up the adjacent trail to look at the big cedar first, then look at the falls on the way back down

This hike is not 1 mile. I would guess it's closer to a tenth of a mile from the trail head to the falls. Beautiful area. I do not recommend driving the back logging roads like we dogs to get there though.

This is a very short trail, probably less than .25 miles. It leads to a view of the waterfall, a bench, and a picnic table.
