It was perfect combination of hills and views for beginner hikers to build up their stamina yet unique experiences (the bridge) for more experienced hikers. Was fabulous. Watch for the thimble berries along the trail mid-late August! And on the road they’re already ripening in early August! My favorite berries!

Got to the trailhead around 4pm and the parking lot was only half full. Definitely recommend going at odd times.

Well kept trail due to so many people there. The hike is entertaining and beautiful, take as many pictures as you can, you’ll want to remember it. The bridge over the waterfall is the main attraction and my favorite part of the whole experience. There’s no place to swim unfortunately.

The trail was well maintained. Get there early to avoid crowds and get parking. When I left at noon the parking lot was full with cars on the sides of the streets.

Lovely trail that is in great shape with beautiful scenery from beginning to end. Adding this to our Oregon Favorites list! Great hike with kids as the hike is not difficult; the suspension bridge is awesome; the falls are impressive; and plenty of places to climb and play in the creek. (Most people were wearing masks, too.)

Easy fun trail. Done multiple times. Waterfall is lovely and nice areas to sit and watch the view. The bridge is cool too. Long gravel roads no matter which direction you come. Bathrooms at trailhead. Would be good for kids. Can be crowded.

This is a wonderful hike with a beautiful waterfall as the payoff at the end of a relatively easy trail. LOADS of tourists NOT wearing a mask/face covering to the point where we almost just left. Best to go early as parking is limited.

Very nice and easy hike. There’s plenty of shade and benches along the trail to take a breather, if needed. There is a $5 fee (CASH ONLY) There were a lot of people when my family and I arrived (11:30 AM ish) and most people came in groups/ families of five or more!! My party had three people total. Many people were NOT wearing masks, but there were a few people that put their masks over their nose/mouth in passing.

Great hike. When you get down to the portion of the hike that you have to question whether to go left or go right, go right.

LOTS of people! Go early! The bridge, waterfall and luscious Oregon green forest is well worth the hike. Great for all ages. We had a 5 and 8 year old with us.

This was a really nice, well maintained trail. The drive getting there wasn’t bad. What was surprising was the popularity of this trail. There were people EVERYWHERE. This fact really made the whole experience less enjoyable.

Nice family friendly trail for all abilities and ages. 1.5 mi each way, clearly marked groomed trail with wooden bridges, creek and suspend bridge at the end of trail near the falls. Trail gently slope to waterfall and returns to the parking area by gentle rise. Lush fur and fern forest, with moss. Great spot to have a snack or light lunch overlooking the falls. The 9.5 mi. road to the trail is well paved but narrow, with twists and turns vegetation on both sides making it a 25 mph drive.

Beautiful trail suitable for all ages. The suspension bridge was the star of the show for me. Plenty of parking when I started out at 9.30am but almost full by 11am. Don’t forget $5, or your pass.
