You will feel like you're on the moon while exploring the trails through the lava fields at the highest point in the pass at this Observatory. The structure, built completely of lava rocks, offers fantastic views to all the surrounding volcanoes. Following the loop trail through the lava field you will feel like you are in moon landscape. It's hard to believe that this much lava erupted from the earth around you! Make sure you take the time to read all the interesting interpretive signs on the trail.

Crazy 360 views of distant mountains, lava rocks, and forest. Observatory made of lava rock and the trails are short and easy walk.

I enjoyed the observatory and learned a lot.
I would remove this detail "features beautiful wild flowers" from the description. There are no flowers, lava only.
