I hiked Upper Leslie Gulch and Dago Gulch in May 2017. Dago Gulch is a flat jeep trail that dead ends at a clearly marked private property. It has great views of the large hoodoo formations prevalent in the Leslie Gulch area. It is wide and flat enough to be family friendly, just be sure to bring plenty of water, as it can be very hot in the summer. The trailhead is easily accessible on a well-traveled dirt road and has a dirt parking area and is well marked with signage. Camping is available at Slocum Creek a few miles down the road on the shore of Lake Owyhee.
