Coyote Way and Tonquin Trail Loop is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Wilsonville, Oregon that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This is a natural area including three miles of walking trails, open vistas, forest trails, and picnic areas. Please note that dogs are only allowed on the paved Ice Age Tonquin Trail and must be on leash. Accessibility: There are designated, handicapped-accessible parking spaces in the parking lot off Wilsonville Road along with one striped access aisle. The trail surface is loose gravel and typically at least four feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (all 5% or less). There are benches along the way for resting.
This is the perfect kind of urban trail that provides good distance and has developed natural surroundings. Trail is excellent and maintained. Like the side loops. Especially the loop along the crest of the ravines that flow into Corral Creek at the south end of the park. Can extend the hike with connecting paths to Merryfield Park, Wood MS and Villebois.
Pretty busy even on a winter day. Mud along paved trail, but still nice to get out. Lots of ppl and kids on bikes and scooters
Great trail to take a break from the city hustle. Super flat and very busy. Lots of bikers, and kids on scooters as well. Saw a few Bluebirds which made the day, and grabbed a Geocache as well. Trail is very clean..
Weather was nice today. Part of the trail was in the sun. Some paved trail. Through part of the trail with trees there were several ornaments. My niece and nephew enjoyed it too. Happy Holidays!
Nice nature trail with informational markers along the way. Good for a walk or run!
One of my favorite nature parks to visit as it's so close to home. With clean, easy trails this park is rich in its biodiversity. With every change of the season, it's like visiting a new park. Lupin is a must see when it's in bloom, and of course the great Elder Oak!
Super laidback trail. Lots of families out taking pictures and soaking up the best of the fall :)
It’s pretty trail I’d like to come back in the fall to see the oaks turn color, I’d also like to come back mid June to see all the lupine they’re done blooming now.
Nice trail, make sure to either start or finish in the forest area, very beautiful. Had a doe and buck come right up to me.
This was a fairly short nice relaxing trail, the main paved trial is dog and bike friendly however there are many little trails that are really cool but dogs and bikes are prohibited, they are also gravel trials, overall great trail!
Nice outing did this one yesterday in the rain BEAUTIFUL even in the rain with an umbrella. 2.6mile loop and maps are easy to follow along the trails. Some paved and mostly small gravel. Defiantly recommend. Afterwards we had a gyro @ gyro house down the street in FM parking lot
