Took our dog, wish we brought his booties cause he kept getting grass spurs stuck in his paw pads. other than that, it was a fun little hike through the forest and has a nice view of the bay and bridge.

Pretty trail right in town. Definitely check it out if you're staying at South Beach Campground. If you're on a bike stay on the main trail to avoid thorns.

Trail is not clearly marked. Lots of side trails that end at private property.

Half is this trail is wooded, sand or wood chipped and wide. Educational signs identifying the plant life is nice. The other half is a walk through the campground on road. Cut over to the Old South Jetty trail for a better experience.

As advertised, but if you do the complete loop. It is closer to 3.0 miles around the perimeter. Well maintained and a good trail for everyone.

Beautiful trail, that wanders around the entire campground at South Beach. We hiked early in the morning on June 17 and were met with a bunch of mosquitoes, so plan for some hearty bug spray early in the summer season.

Very pretty with lots of trees and shade. My 4 year old loved exploring and watching squirrels and birds. Great little hike for anyone!
