It was a great trail, little wet, really the wettest part was the south end of the lake, after the water level goes down a bit, will try it again, the Dog had a blast, and the view was great.

Lots of water hazards and flooding making it impossible to do the full loop

Nice trail around the lake. Very scenic! The trail is forested so I did not need to wear a hat to shield the sun. We only encountered one other person (runner) and this was on a weekend! If you are snake squeamish, we did encounter several snakes, including one at waist height in the tall grassy area on the return side of the lake loop.

Great trail run close to home: Otters, Bald Eagles, deer, elk, Cranes. Nice kayaking lake for watching birds.

Short, easy around a lake with good birding for waterfowl especially.
