China Creek Loop Trail is part of the Carl G Washburne Memorial State Park trail system. This is an out-and-back trail that covers the China Creek Loop. A nice hike for all ages. This route takes you from the Carl G Washburne Memorial State Park day use parking lot on the west side of Hwy 101 across to the loop trail on the east side of Hwy 101. The trail meanders through some beautiful moss covered lush green forests and has a few crossings of China Creek.

By far one of my most favorite hiking spots in the area.

Nice easy hike for our the day we arrived at Carl Wasburne State Park. We didn’t have a ton of daylight left before settling into our yurt. Great way to winter camp without needing to carry a bunch of gear.

Lush coastal forest hike that crosses a creek. Connects to other trails.

Lush, beautiful trail. Dogs did great on it. It was quiet and only saw a few fellow hikers in early October.
