Chetco Lake Trail is a 8.9 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Brookings, Oregon that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, trail running, and backpacking and is best used from March until June. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Without the right company this trail would have been one star. I agree with previous reviewer, because it was far from moderate due to the terrain. It had its moments of beauty, but the end goal of reaching the destination was not worth the trail itself.

great hike but far from medium with all the rocks on the trail makes it a lot more difficult. but it is so cool out there can only imagine how pretty it was before the forest service burned it up..
