Very beautiful! I started at the top by the Astoria Column. The trail is aptly named, as the tree truly looks like it could be a cathedral. This was a steep trail in some parts, but it’s extremely shorty and pretty easy.

Very dark trail even on a sunny day. Some steep areas, lots of roots and I imagine really muddy in the rainy season.

Recommend staring from cathedral tree trail head, to the cathedral tree then up to the tower. Very rewarding hike for the low miles. Well groomed upto the tree. Tree to tower is a lot of mud, and tree roots. Fun morning adventure! Took my time to enjoy the scenery.
