This one is perfect!!! Amazing views, seals, birds, glorious!! One “steep” down and up that my 71 yo mom with lung problems was able to complete. Lots of keep up littlest ones close to you because of the drop offs. Dog friendly!!

Beautiful country. You will find yourself up at 4am just to get on beach and see the sea life. Starfish!

This is a stunning easy hike. The coast line is amazing. We took our dogs, it IS dog friendly, they just cannot be in the gardens. The park itself has some paved trails also, good for people in wheelchairs to use. I wish this was an longer hike, I wanted to go on into infinity. So peaceful. We saw sea lions as well, a real treat.

It’s a great trail. Nice and easy with stunning views. It’s a bit short but great if you’re looking for a quick hike.

Walking

Easy. Mostly flat. The woods and the ocean are gorgeous scenery. Took about 1 1/2 hours leisurely walking with my dog. I started off the highway and not the garden area. Such a nice walk with only a few steps.

Incredibly scenic! And, yes, you can bring your dogs! We asked because there are signs all over Shore Acres saying dogs aren't even allowed out of their car. They said dogs are allowed on the trails, but not in garden areas. We have an annual pass, but if you don't want to pay, I believe you can park at the area that says Lighthouse View (off Cape Arago Hwy) and start your walk from there. Not sure to classify this as a walk or a hike. It's not very strenuous, mostly flat with just a few stairs.
