This is a 1 mile hike off of the Payette-French Gulch Trail at Applegate Lake. It would be considered moderate as it climbs up the mountain and then connects to the Prospector Loop Trail for another 1.6 mile hike. There are not much views to speak of on this stretch.

Hiked this as part of a loop with other connecting trails, including the Payette Trail. Moderate difficulty considering the incline, not much in the way of views, but convenient for connecting the surrounding trails.

This trail runs off of the French Gulch-Payette Trail. Its a mile long and connects to Prospector Trail. Theres not much in the way of views but if all your looking to do is go for a hike just to get out then this trail system is worth it. You can access the trail from the road just further up from the French Gulch parking area. We also took out dog and also saw bikes and runners along the trail.

This connects from the Payette-French Gulch Trail at Applegate and tho there is not really any great views to speak of, its a nice 1 mile hike that connects to the Prospector Loop Trail. We took our dog and it was a nice hike. This trail is also shared with bicyclist.
