This is a great hike that is just about the right distance and difficulty for me. The trail surface is mostly good except for a couple of short stretches. The views of the Cascades from the top of the Burma road are awesome. It is a good trail for the trail runner also.

Love this trail! Usually about 8 miles the route I take. Gorgeous views! I do this multiple times a year and it never gets old.

Tried running this loop and fell a bit short as much of it is just a bit too steep for me to run. Overall a great trail and if you're hiking w kiddos on your back it's perfectly safe.

Breath taking hike. If you don't mind people and having to worry about your dog being on leash for 6 miles, I'd say this was a fabulous hike. This was without a doubt one of the most beautiful heavily populated state parks I've ever been to. Healthy wildlife and river run. Be careful for rattlesnakes, I ran into a pretty disgruntled young Diamond Back. Enjoy!

The hike up to the top was very very difficult, but the ride down was worth it.
