Short easy trail to the bottom of the falls. Significant highway noise

Dry conditions though would be very slippery with any rain. Very quick easy walk and beautiful falls.

Really awesome bang for your buck short hike. If you go on a weekday and when it’s a bit misty you’ll have the place to yourself.

July 2019. This trail is lovely and a short distance to get to the pretty waterfall at the bottom. I did the hike in Teva’s, sneakers are fine if you’d rather not lug the hiking boots along for this one. This trail is very popular, so don’t go expecting to be silent and ‘one with nature’ as you’ll be saying “hi” to someone every minute and a half on the trail (mind you this was mid-day on a Wednesday), and the waterfall area is just humming with people, both tourists and locals. Free large parking lot with decent and non-smelly restrooms (with running water, not one of those hellhole porta potty situations with a hundred flies) at trailhead.

Short, easy hike! One of the prettiest falls along the gorge in my opinion.

Nice short trail to the falls. You’re going down first then up on your way back. Very nice waterfalls! Not too busy on a Monday morning.

Short and there are some stairs on the way in. Great short hike. Steep incline on the back though. So wear good shoes. Went on a tuesday around 11 AM and was pretty crowded.

Dog and child friendly trail, there are few other trails around, so you can get a few different trails in one drive. There are nice picnic areas around as well.

Nice falls 7am in the morning not busy.

There was a disclaimer - that Cougars are present in the area. Solo hikes are not advised

Very short hike with LOTS of tourists. There were some rocky areas, but so worth it. First time going there. Beautiful. May go again.

easy trail, though in rainy weather can be a little scary if you're not sure-footed. some of it is paved, but not enough of the trail is paved to bring a stroller. my two year old did his first hike down to the falls and back up all by himself (there are some stairs too), so I'd say it's a good hike for kids.

Five stars for the breathtaking views and not a single other person on this tiny trail. Ice on trail, so needed hiking shoes for grip, maybe even crampons. The waterfall was Gushing. And views of the Gorge were gorgeous too! My favorite waterfall hike while visiting PDX area. 3/7/19.

A very short yet sweet walk. This is not a trail for people looking for a good hike. However, this is my favorite overlook of the Columbia River gorge. In my opinion, this trail offers the most breathtaking views. It is also easily accessible making it a great visit for people of all ages and builds. The waterfall is not all that impressive but you can travel down the road to get your falls fix. Again, a gorgeous spot to look out over the Columbia River, making this trail a worthwhile stop on a visit to the gorge.
