Nice park with a short trail along the Willamette river. This is a city park but most people never go beyond the boat ramp or the picnic areas. Over the wooden foot bridge is a nature trail. The terrain is a flat hardpack trail. Periwinkle Creek enters the Willamette River here. It is interesting that the creek flows in the opposite direction as the river. NOTE: It has not recommended to do this hike alone due to safety reasons.

Has a lot of homeless, dogs only on leash, very dirty. Not going back unless for a mid afternoon walk, I went at 7am.

nice for a little five minute walk or a spot to take your dogs. Not really a hike.

Lots of unsavory folks hanging around, other than that it's a decent trail for Albany.

Would avoid crossing into the wooded area past boat launch access, doesn't seem like a "family friendly" area. Garbage all over. Beautiful place for family pictures near parking area.

I do not recommend going here, it's full of weird people (drugged groups of people) who stay late in vehicles getting high and watch you. Not kid friendly!!!
