A solid 3 stars. A nice climb takes you to the lake. Although, it could be argued that the destination be named Bloom Pond.

Not enough blooms. Or too many. Not sure. Either way, not impressed.

This is an enchanted forest indeed!

Trail is in good shape and the road noises disappear pretty quickly. The lake is nice, not spectacular just nice. Definitely worth stopping by on the way to the coast.

really enjoyed this hike with the family. very easy! maybe too easy for us! but it was still absolutely beautiful! anybody can hike this that is in any kind of shape. the 1st stretch is all uphill but not bad at all. once you make the right turn at the arrow...that's where the hike becomes the best....favorite kind of trail....beautiful trees...scenery...
we will take a pole next time because there are fish in this lake!

Not too hard for my poor knees. The Labrador loved it!

We have lived in Seaside for over 30 years and just discovered Bloom Lake today on May 10th. We would do it again with friends and family. Mikette

A lovely hike on a hot day. Trilliums were out. Dog-friendly. The return loop was washed out, so stay on the main trail.

This trail is wonderfully shaded and cool on a summer morning and easy while not being boring. We had a toddler in the backpack and it was just manageable (a little slippery coming back down, but not bad). It's definitely a short and sweet hike but our small child wouldn't have been able to do it on foot.
Park at the trail head on 26/Sunset Hwy- there is a very obvious sign for the trail and space to park.

Nice shady short hike to stretch your legs on a warm day

Good hike. If you try to go all the way around the lake there are several false trails on the back side so be careful. First mile is all up hill.
