This trail offers a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, and horseback riding. NOTE: Horseback riding is only open from April 15 - October 31. Easy hike on a gravel covered trail 1 mile long through trees of various kinds. It shares its trailhead with the Plunkett Creek Trail on the north end of a long wooden bridge across from the picnic area.

the shortest and easiest of three trails that start here, we recommend this loop for families with littles and or older dogs who can't do the more strenuous hikes. it's a nice walk with good meadow views, a lavatory with running water at the trail head and multiple benches/rest stops along the path. there is ample parking at the trail head! bring your own dog poo bags!
