Road biking

We took the paved bike path (until the last .5mi leading to the falls) instead of the mountain bike path. No ice or snow, just some mud in the unpaved spots.

Snow and ice in many spots. Need waterproof shoes, preferably that protect your ankles. Light was beautiful. Water was low. Still worth it

Great hike. Still some snow and icy patches. We went early and we were able to avoid a lot of the mud as it was still frozen.

Nice hike but the conditions were less than optimal. Lots of ice patches so be careful. The falls didn’t disappoint and the walk near the river was serene.

WalkingIcy

Easy trail, paved the entire way. Good for bike rides, strollers, walking and running. As you cross over the bridge near the falls there tends to be a lot of ice on the path. There is snow throughout the trail but near the falls it is fairly muddy and slippery. Gorgeous trail the entire way.

We took fat tire bikes out on snow/ice trails from our place in sunriver and went to the falls. The trailhead from the bridge on was gorgeous. The part from Sunriver to trailhead was monotonous with the snow. We rode past the trails and had the golden hour so the lighting was incredible! Highly recommend doing the fat tire bikes or as a trail run!

HikingGreat!Icy

Paved trail, a little icey today, but well worth the adventure. The views of the falls are well with the trip and quite a reward when you reach them. We will definitely do this again!

Well maintained but a little difficult for hikers and dogs because of all the mountain bikes

Short trail to Burnham Falls- you can add mileage with many other trails in the area. There is a restroom at the parking lot (NW Forest Pass/OR pass required) and at the falls. These aren’t traditional waterfalls but a nice walk. Beautiful in the snow. Road to falls had lots of snow and that was packed a bit high for your under carriage- but not icy. Very beautiful!
