Views of the Willamette Valley and Coast Range Mountains. The hike to the top of Bald Hill offers some beautiful views of the Willamette Valley and Coast Range mountains. On a clear day, you can also see parts of the Cascade Mountain Range. Bald Hill area offers opportunities for everyone. There is a paved path that works its way almost around the entire base of the hill that is well used on almost any given day, especially in the summer months. The trails to the top vary from very well maintained to somewhat maintained. The trail is always clear, and wide enough that two horses can fit side by side in most areas. The trail to the top is heavily wooded, but the top offers outstanding views because there aren't many trees on top - hence the name Bald Hill.

love this area. We ended up on doing 9 miles in ad day just wandering around taking in the beauty. My new favorite hiking spot.

Muddy right now, but still a fun little hike. Take your time and step carefully. This is a "do it again" when it's had a chance to dry out.

This is a fun trail during the summer and spring, and is even a pretty decent night hike, but it is by far at its best when covered in snow. A fairly easy hike year round, but be aware that down trees are not uncommon, particularly near the trail heads and may occlude the path.

This was a pretty easy hike. I brought my dog, and even had her off leash for about five minutes with no problems at all. Light traffic when I was there. Due to the weather the trail is now very muddy. I highly recommend boots of some sort. The view was nice, but I'm sure it is much more enjoyable in the summer or with snow. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a good time without the pressure of a long hike. I spent approximately 1.5 hours here.

Even on a "busy day", I didn't see that many people on the unimproved trails. The paved trail between parking lots has heavy traffic.
