Views of the Willamette Valley and Coast Range Mountains. The hike to the top of Bald Hill offers some beautiful views of the Willamette Valley and Coast Range mountains. On a clear day, you can also see parts of the Cascade Mountain Range. Bald Hill area offers opportunities for everyone. There is a paved path that works its way almost around the entire base of the hill that is well used on almost any given day, especially in the summer months. The trails to the top vary from very well maintained to somewhat maintained. The trail is always clear, and wide enough that two horses can fit side by side in most areas. The trail to the top is heavily wooded, but the top offers outstanding views because there aren't many trees on top - hence the name Bald Hill.

My hubby and I enjoyed the hike. We will be back again. Most people respected the C19 guidelines... thank you. Found a great spot for our snack break with a peaceful view.

THE VIEW AT THE TOP makes this entire trail worth it. My friend and I did this hike a few weeks ago, and were both from Mt. Hood, OR, so when we told corvallis locals that we were hiking this they thought it was bold of us to do the “WHOLE HILL.” Piece of cake. The trail was really washed out as it rained the day prior and that morning so our shoes were reaaalllly muddy by the end of it, but the view man, the view. I go to UO and it may be rivalrous of me to love this trail but even though it was ridiculously muddy to get up, I loved it so much. Will definitely be doing this one again, for sure.

Great dog friendly hike! Trail is in great condition. Watch out for bikers on the paved path! There is an off leash dog area/path !

Beautiful trails with paved paths for easier trekking or head into the hills for more of a climb. A little muddy this season but still amazing! Not crowded and plenty of space/trails for roaming. Parking is tight on nice days but I’ve always managed to find a spot. One of my all time favorite hikes! Recently identified the Oak mistletoe which is a native plant species.

I keep finding nice hikes in the Corvallis area! Once you leave the paved path, a great trail system on the hill. It was dry today, but it would be slick when wet.

Too many dog lovers contaminating this family friendly site with their "loving animal's" plastic poop bags. if you going to enjoy communing with animal AND nature...then have the common decency and respect for the environment and others...clean up, pick up, and carry out your dogs SH#$! You're ruining the natural experience by your selfish and inconsiderate behavior
