be sure to bring you bug sprays. lots of horse flies and large bees. Fun area to look for cool rocks. Tried out one of the trails and they were covered in spider nests and very over grown, then when you got to the end of the trail to get to the springs there were no beach to walk on and a wall of plants amd trees in every which way. :/ also saw a bull snake. no rattle snake encounters though. Brought our dog and there was little shade and the trail is all rocla which might have been to hot on her feet. we ended up carrying her and dodging around off the trail so she was not uncomfortable.
