Abbott Butte is a 7 mile out and back trail located near Prospect, Oregon that features a great forest setting and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and rock climbing and is best used from May until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Watch out for bears! Dad and sisters talked me into condemned lookout tower...rickety...don't do it!

Decent hike that took the better part of a day. Sadly, the views from the lookout and surrounding trails were severely limited by wild fires.

Beautiful! Went to old look out tower. Fields of wild flowers, Elk. And amazing views.
