It was very strange at first. It's located right off of a highway so theres some traffic noise from that, the trailhead leads you into a field where you go stomp around for a bit.. once you get to the wooded area it is very nice. No one was there besides me, which I find odd on a Saturday morning but it was so nice. The blue loop was very enjoyable, my dog and I saw about 4 deer throughout that area. It just rained last night so the trail was a bit muddy, but only bad in a handful of places. I will definitely be back! :)

Nice wide and well marked trail system. I did White Trail, Blue Trail and Green Trail. Trails are for hiking and biking. The difficulty marked on trail signs I believe are for biking, as I found hiking the trails as easy to moderate (in a few spots), mostly fairly easy.

SCIP Recreational Trail in Midwest City just opened recently. It is fairly short, being a total of approximately 2.8 miles, but it is laid out well and the loops can be ridden repeatedly for a longer ride. The White trail is a circle that can be ridden in either direction, very flat in the open with no shade. This ties in to the Green trail which is .5 miles that is mostly wooded with some minor obstacles. There is a gravel road that connects the Green to the Blue which is 1.4 miles, again mostly wooded. The obstacles on Blue are a bit more challenging, but still rather easy. The Black trail is a short wooded .3 miles within the Blue trail. There are moderate obstacles and numerous jumps built in.

Overall, it is a fairly simple trail, but can be a lot of fun. Most of the obstacles cut across gullies or are man-made jumps. The trails are very new, so are quite bumpy. Blue has one long, slow climb along side the Black trail, otherwise there is very little elevation change.

My 7-year old grandson and I spent several hours riding and had a great time. This was his first time riding in the woods and it was a very positive experience for him.
