I walked this trail nearly every day at lunch for 2 1/2 years, up until I moved to OKC. I love this trail. I still haven’t found something as nice, convenient, “wild,” and not crowded. There were times I was the only person at the park or trail.

It has quarter mile markers, be warned they are off by a lot. A full trip around is only like .85 mile or something along those lines.

This is a great little trail, the city of Weatherford has been building on to it recently, with the addition of a path that crosses over to the old fishing hole and an outside area with work out equipment.

This is a nice trail for some easy walking. The all asphalt trail is marked every 1/4 mile. The loop is a 1 mile walk with a 1/4 mile spur that takes you over to the Ole' Fishin' Hole. And, there is an approximate 1/2 mile walk around this local fishing hole. Interesting facts and info are posted around the trail to educate you about the area. I have spotted deer in the field just west of the trail. There is lots of bird and insect life, a wide variety of plant life, and usually a cotton tail rabbit to be spotted. An easy walk for any age
