Cave Trail is the trail that leads to Robbers Cave believed to be the hide out of infamous outlaws. The area is very scenic. The trail is a combination of the original CCC trail and an easier trail built at a later time. Great views and rock formations. The cave is the primary park attraction.

GREAT views and perfect for climbing. Probably wouldn't bring my dog next time so I do a bit more climbing. I will definitely be back for more.

This area is a lot of fun, it is heavily trafficked which makes staying on the actual trail somewhat challenging, however there is so much to see. The views are fantastic, and the caverns are very interesting. Considering some of the steep climbing and the loose sand on the rocks, I would recommend decent footwear.

I've been here several times and the hike never disappoints. There are two levels of difficulty here, the hardest has a bit rougher terrain but very doable.

Great little trail.
good views and plenty of good photo ops.
gat to parking lot is supposed to be open at 8am. was locked at 9:30.
had to walk up a steep road to get to trail. that was harder than the hike itself.
good for kids.

FEB 2017, temp 80*. Got there at 9am ahead of the crowd. Very fun for kids, a lot climbing around, good scenery. Explored and took pics took about 1:30. Not difficult, but you do have to be cautious.

We loved the trails. Some were little hard to make out with the leaves and pine needles. They have the trail marked very well!
We did primitive camping and was awesome. Go back again soon!

One of my absolute favorite places to go in OK. It's just beautiful and is a wonderful park overall.

What a fun short trail! It was exciting to crawl through the caves and explore the history behind it. The rocks there are also excellent for rock climbers. We also saw families bring their pets and children.

The park offers a guide who will tell you the history of the cave as well.

I absolutely loved this trail! Lots of opportunities to challenge yourself by climbing over boulders. This trail is also great for beginners as there are smoother flat land trails along side the more difficult ones. Plenty of shade, lots of wild life, great views from the top of the trail!
** Loved that you are able to go in, around, and through the caves. Great for kids and adults alike. You could definitely bring your furry companion, but be aware that some spots may be too steep for them to climb. ***
There is also a camp site down below the cave trails.

My wife and I Completed the Cave Trail On 7/17/15. This short hike is well worth the time. There are a lot of great views the trail is well marked. Allow your self plenty of time to stop and enjoy the views and scenery this trail has to offer.
