Short path to a lake and dam. Loops around through the woods along a stream back to the start. Good quick hike with some nice views. Very easy for all ages
Lots of trash scattered about, I tried to pick up as much as I could. Made me sad though. Walking through the first part of the the trail, trying to go through the wooded area, I came up on an elk and we scared each other quite a bit. (He started moaning too.) After that, I decided to go back to the main trail and stay on that. Easy trail. I was the only one out here. But there were lots of odd people who pulled up “parking” or just “browsing through”. Made me a little concerned about my car’s safety. All was well though. Good evening stroll.
5 stars if you go on past the end of the trail and climb around /boulder hop!
