We drove out to hike this "trail" but it was nothing other than walking by the highway next to the spillway and through campgrounds. It's not much of a trail in my opinion.

Great Lake views. Was muddy yesterday but I don’t mind that.

This was a trail in the same was that the Dallas North Tollway is a trail. It was a paved road that at times meanders through trees. This was the second leg of an overnight hike/camp in Eisenhower State Park, and a very disappointing way to conclude our weekend.

A nice easy trail where you can get some solitude once you're out of the marina areas. I took a backpack and camped out overnight in a cove and did some fishing while I was there (and landed a nice catfish).
