Pleasant trail around southern rim of the lake into the refuge east of Mt Scott
Not bad. Some confusing signage about whether or not the trail is closed during the fall/winter season. Very pretty with the leaves changing color/falling.
It was a great little trail. The terrain had a nice change throughout. The only downside is it was a little muddy and there were a lot of downed limbs on the trail, but that was only mildly inconvenient. All in all I enjoyed it and thought it was perfect for a leisurely Sunday hike.
This trail was narrow and brushy, it wasn't senic at all. We actually cut the trail off and cut across.
This was the Blue trail it was not listed so I chose this trail to add a review. Blue trail is not to bad grass is pretty high though.
Would recommend pants! Nice relatively flat trail that’s well marked but definitely overgrown.
Nice trail with some elevation gain at the end. We hiked with two small kids and they did fine most of the hike. The low parts near the lake were pretty muddy even though it hasn’t rained in a week.
On the east edge of moderate. Recent rains made the trail a bit stuck but passable. Hiked with a dog and saw nobody out today. Parts of trail are exposed so will need sunscreen for bright days. Bug clouds near the lake but cleared quickly. Lots of wooded trail, pleasant hike. Recommend long pants due to thorns in underbrush.
Great trail! Very well marked and which hasn’t been our experience in this area with trails. Muddy in a few areas but wasn’t a problem (we walked).
