Road bikingGreat!

Lake Hefner / Bert Cooper Trail is a great adventure around the lake with lots of trees for shade, resting and a water break. You also can stray off the trail a little to see Stars & Stripes Park.

Great and easy bike trail if you live in the area. Some nice nature interspersed, waterfowl, and even a clowder of feral cats

It's a "work out" trail. Pretty crowded sometimes. Good for jogging. Bikers have a separate lane.

The first 4 miles were nice. However, the back side of the lake is trashy.

This would be a nice place if people picked up after themselves. There were piles of trash strewn everywhere and lots of trash floating in the lake.

Its a decent trail for easy same day riding. People dont know trail rules, dogs are on loose leashes and pedestrians walk on bike trail instead of sidewalks.

Done this walk many many times. One of the easiest trails I’ve ever done. It’s flat/level. It’s paved. It’s wide. Great trail and okc is lucky to have it. You are rarely around other people even on a “busy” day with this trail. Plan your bathroom stops appropriately as there is 4-5 mile section on the north and west sides with no facilities.

Nice casual, safe and easy to ride on any type bike. Didnt like riding over the damn. Too much traffic including cars. Saw dogs not leashed. Many people not wearing helmets. Nice picnic areas. Many rude riders. Runners seemed friendly. And we were on bikes. It was a Saturday. May do it sometimes during the week when Spring comes for leisure.

We went biking here. It is a paved trail on the lake. For the most part there was any shade. The trail is paved and appears well maintained. We went at roughly 5pm on a weekday and it was not busy.

I didnt walk this whole trail but people were skating, riding bikes, and walking it is very nice, no shade and the trail is about 9 miles long that goes around the lake.
