Short hikearound the historic Mysterious Viking Hieroglyphics area. The hike begins at the Runestone Loop Kiosk to the right of the HQ gift shop. Follow the path, to about 0.03 miles at a junction. Do not turn left down the stairs, continue straight. At 0.10 miles you will encounter the bridge. Cross the bridge. On the other side you will encounter another trail to the left going down the stairs to the ruinstone building. Continue on the main trail, do not take the stairs. Follow the main trail around to the start-point and return to the kiosk.
Very enjoyable walk with a variety of altitude changes. Perfect time of year.
Basic trail thru wooded area back side is kind of a upward climb but a easy trail
This is an easy short walk giving a decent sampling of local plants, wildlife, and terrain.
Nice little hike in the area of the ruinstone.
Nice little walk. Adds to the visit, gives you a better feel of the terrain than the hike to the stone.
