This is not the trail for the DBHT. It actually continues on past the point this map starts its return (at the spillway). At 259a it crosses over to the Indian Nation Trail (not sure where this junction is from the skyway trail unless it’s at Bee Creek because there it offers a route to “the lodge”) which takes you to the Armadillo camp area, you then cross the road and take the continuation of the Indian Nation Trail to Carson Creek. You can turn around at this point. So you do Skyline Trail 7+ miles, connect to Indian Nation Trail at spillway for 5 miles to Stephens Gap, connect to next section of Indian Trail towards Carson Creek for 1 mike, and turn around. A car at drop off Dogwood Camp and one at the Spillway would work. Don’t start the trail by spillway as you can’t get back to your car due to bridge area being washed out.
