Great falls. It was fun exploring all the different paths. Recommend getting a trail map when paying the $10 for the day parking. It is hard to know the exact path you might be on, but they all tend to lead to the falls or around there.
Great hike! Beautiful scenery, not too difficult, but hard enough in spots to give you a sense of accomplishment.
Wear shoes with good traction. Despite drought, there was still water falling.
Nice obviously very short trail, depending on when you go it can get pretty crowded
Not little kid friendly. Age 10+ definitely would Not bring any younger. $10 parking. Online says kid friendly (it's not) also says paved trails (only first part is then it drops off to stairs or uphill rocky hike). Disappointing adventure with family.
Very busy park. A lot of the trail is paved at the beginning. Then you go off into the wilderness. Sometimes you have to guess which way to go since there isn’t a lot of signs and seems to have a lot of possible trails. Overall easy hike and fun! Worth checking out
This is the Bear Trail at Natural Falls State Park. Start near the playground just behind the park HQ and head down towards the falls. The trail is well marked with green paint on the trees. This route follows the actual trail, while the other trails marked for this park do not. Get a paper map from the office and enjoy the view!
