Bathtub falls is a series of cascades where the rocks here have been cut deep and smoothed over by the creek so much so that they form smooth pools and slides.

The actual trail is now closed - you can see where the trail head sign was but there is a gate across and it is overgrown. The bathtub rocks are beautiful. We tried another small trail off the right of the rocks and went a mile or so. Some interesting sights but not maintained.

Not really a place to hike more like a place to just sit and let the kids splash and play

Even with cold water our boys enjoyed every second of playing on the natural "water slides" and the area is beautiful.

We discovered this place last year and went several times last summer to swim! In the summertime be prepared for crowds on the weekends and even after 3ish on weekdays! It's an amazing place though! Unfortunately we found it becoming more littered each time we went. Please practice a "leave no trace" policy to keep places like this open to the public. All too often I hear of an amazing natural "playground" only to discover it's been shut down because the public has trashed the place. When possible...Bring an extra trashbag and pick up what others left behind if you can. It'll pay off in the end.

This place is not really a hiking trail it is more of a place to go to and chill. It is a cool place but if you travel too far you are on private property. Great place to go in the late spring if you have small children to swim.
