The map here is not accurate. There is quite a bit more terrain. Go to the Zaleski Backpack Trail website for better map info. There are 3 designated back country camp sites, all have a privy and drinking water. We still filtered just to be safe. We started at the school house trail head, went to camp 2 and looped back. Great place.

Path was a bit overgrown. A decent amount of thorns. We would recommend pants and a long sleeve.

Beautiful area. However trail maintained poorly and blazing at roads and turns EXTREMELY poor! This could be a great trail if trail blaze protocol was implemented.
