Woodland Mound Trails is a 2.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Cincinnati, Ohio that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This park is a part of the Hamilton County Park System. There is a small fee to enter, but a very cheap yearly fee can be paid and then entrance into all of the parks will be available. This park has about 4 trails that can be walked. One of these trails is a Parcours Fitness Trail and has a variety of exercises that can be done along the walk. Some of the areas have paved walkways and are wheelchair accessible, but most are uphill / downhill and include steps.
There is plenty of parking and restroom facilities. During the summer there is a sprinkler park open for children 12 yo and under. There is also a small but very neat Nature Center that is free.

This is only a few miles off of I275 which encircles the Cincinnati area. I-275, west on Route 125 (Beechmont Avenue), left on Nordyke Road to park entrance on right. Also accessible via U.S. 52, left on Eight Mile Road, right on Old Kellogg to park entrance on left.
Well marked trails. Somewhat busy. Saw a person every ten minute on a Sat AM
The trail was very nice. We walked all the trails in the park and it came out to 3.3mi. It had rained extensively the previous day so the trail was slick with mud but no soupy or deep patches of mud. Overall a nice hike but recommend hiking shoes if it's rained recently.
Well maintained and enjoyable walking paths. Most of the trail is a paved bike/walking path through the park complex. There are a few sections of gravel paths that wind through some lovely wooded areas. There is a good view of the river from one of the picnic pavilion areas.
Good urban trail. Parcour was our favorite because it was very shady and in the woods.
The use charges are usually necessary for Great Parks. The promenade which is not paved is connected, but three are dead-end except one on the big paved promenade. Many people take a walk and walking and running and take a walk with a dog.
Wouldn’t exactly call this a hike. The trail is entirely paved/gravel. Very pretty park but if you’re looking for a place for a good hike this isn’t it.
The trail system consists of a central shared use paved loop with several gravel trails branching off, each a little under a mile in length. The trails are well maintained gravel and have varying elevation. It is pretty heavily trafficked and does not have a remote feel. It wouldn't be the best for a scenic hike, but is great for an easy to reach walk in the woods. I use the loop as a trail running route and it is perfect for a run through the woods without worrying about breaking your ankle on a tree root. The side trails or the main loop can be repeated to selectively add distance.
Enjoyed a good walk through the park today! At times it is wooded and hiking other parts of the loop are paved and more open air. My dog and I really enjoyed it! There is a charge of $3 or $5 depending on if you live in Hamilton County or not. I didn't know and was lucky enough to have some cash.
Woodland Mound is a nice park. It features many of the same amenities as other parks in Hamilton County, OH. I differ with the "out and back" description given on AllTrails. There is a continuous paved trail that spans about 1.3 miles. From the paved loop are several gravel out and back trails that are .6 to .9 miles in length. I did two of the side trails and completed the paved circuit three times to meet my workout needs.
