Willow Trail is a 1.6 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Lakemore, Ohio that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
This is a great place to visit with kids to see birds and wildlife. The trail can handle strollers but it is a bit bumpy and rocky in places.
Well-maintained. Mostly dry despite full day of rain yesterday. Lots of beautiful river views.
So we did this trail after a search for "stroller friendly". As far as stroller friendliness goes, there were a few rough patches, and the surface was generally pretty bumpy, but not a problem for our beast of a stroller. The trail in general was very nice and wooded, running along water for a lot of the way. It is apparently a one way trail, we did it the wrong way due to a lack of signage at our entry point.
