The West Branch Trail connects the Harbor Trail loop to the side of the park west of Winton Road and ultimately to the parking lots by the Kingfisher Trail trailhead. (West Branch and Harbor Trails can readily be combined into a lollipop configuration.) It passes the park road, some meadow/prairie areas, trees, some park buildings, and even a rain garden. At the east end, the West Branch Trail passes under the Winton Road bridge over Winton Lake, and circles around (like an interstate ramp) to meet the Harbor Trail, which also goes on the bridge. To drive in, 2019 park admission rates for Hamilton County residents/non-residents are $5/$8 daily or $10/$15 for an annual permit that is good for all Hamilton County Parks.
