Hard to follow correct trail in certain places. Be prepared to walk further if you get turned around. Muddy in the beginning but dried out fairly quickly. Very quiet trail, several wildflowers in bloom.

Good hike with lots of options for making it as long or difficult as you want. Trail has a lot of roots and rocks and this time of year was very sloppy/muddy. This is s bike path but saw only 2 other groups all day.

Trails in surprisingly good shape, couple places where trees are down but you can go around alright on foot.

Switchbacks for switchback sake on the way back it seems. Skipped a good portion of the trail and still was 10 miles

Really surprised the hike was very enjoyable. Trail had a lot of variety but because most of it is a bike trail if you’re going to walk be aware.

Rocky. I should not have started at 5am with a 7:45am sunrise... the flashlight helped, but very Rocky. Ankles were tested severely. Do not recommend it in the dark. Otherwise, it was cool.

The footing and terrain is definitely challenging but over all if you're looking for a good training grounds for Ultra trail running this is a good trail.

First time here and loved every bit of it. Trails were great, a lot of rock features, great views, and I even had two deer run out in front of me about 30 yards. May be difficult for beginners but definitely fun. If you haven’t been here you should definitely make the trip.

Trail is not a trail at all, it is a snowmobile and mountain bike trail. Over grown and full of bike ramps and fallen trees.

Not very well marked. Not the best choice for a night hike.

We hiked the Buckeye South Trail between Knapp Road and Rocksprings Road. Trailheads are so overgrown as to be difficult to find. Lack of signage makes that even worse.  Numerous deadfalls obstruct the trail so that following trail markings can be difficult.

The park itself is a little hard to get around. Lots of different paths to get you to the same place but it's all wonderful. I'm never disappointed whenever I find a perfect view of that lake and set up my hammock. Beautiful spot with little foot traffic.
