Definitely a mountain bike trail but very diverse & hilly. Good workout. Easy enough to get out of bikers way, just go backwards.

It may be a great bike trail but I will never come back to hike. It gave me the creeps seeing all the trash.

This was a really nice trail for a snowy hike; no people and lots of pine trees.

Hikers- this is primarily a mountain bike trail so be aware. Also, it’s privately owned but open for biking and hiking. They ask for a small donation of $5, please consider it. This is, from my understanding, an old landfill so expect to see trash. It sucks but at least the land is being repurposed for awesome outdoor activities. Be sure to check the Vultures Knob FB page for closings for events and during hunting season!!! All that being said I’m glad I hiked here at least once. It was a different experience for sure. Not sure I’ll come back, I’ll probably leave it for the bikers it’s intended for but glad to have hiked it.

love these trails, a really cool use of an old landfill. bridges, tree tunnels and lots of confusing trails but really fun to explore.

Different - definitely more for bikers than hikers but I enjoyed it. Sad to see a lot of refuse out on it though (dumped tires and whatnot). Super confusing to me but I probably could not find my way out of a paper bag. Suspension bridge was a highlight.

Really fun trail. You should know this is more of a mountain bike trail than a hikers trail. With that being said there were multiple surprises for me today all of which I enjoyed as a hiker. When I started I followed the green arrows but that just looped me back to the beginning over and over. Then I followed the red and blue arrows, which I would recommend for any hiker that wants a more substantial hike. The only difference between red and blue is that at the middle point the red adds a large additional loop through a beautiful wooded valley. Along the way you will see white arrows. Follow them for a shortcut back to your car. I would advise wearing thick soles as this is a very rocky path and your feet will get torn up in tennis shoes.

If you’re up for a biking challenge this trail is for you! Had a great time biking this with my 12 year old son. There were parts we had to walk our bikes due to the difficulty of the inclines. This trail has a great variety of technical challenges that really pushes you. Be sure to have the right gear. I recommend this trail.

Awesome trail - kudos to the VN owner and volunteers who've put it so much work on this private trail. Be prepared to climb some hills. A lot of hills. The downs are worth the ups though. Really lucky to have this close-by. 7/15 there are 2-3 trees down but I'm betting those don't stay long.

Looks like a blast on a mountain bike, not so much for leisure hike. If you're looking for somewhere to hike I would recommend a hiking trail. If biking is your thing, bring it.

Super fun trail, most fun I've ever had on my bike. TIP: You need to turn down Access Rd which is a gravel road located off of Mechanicsburg Rd. to find the trail head.

The very best MTB trails in Ohio. Privately owned but you can use them for a small donation, which is a Honor box. I cant wait to take my 29er there.

This place is tricky to find. There is a no-name road east of Overton Road. I had a 4x4 and just drove up a hidden path until I found some trails. The trails are narrow and technical but a lot of fun. Come prepared for the worst.
