Overall pretty great HOWEVER I was there on a Monday evening. Bridal veil falls lookout probably the highlight. There were some mountain bikes (bridle trail is shared use at times) but I would imagine during peak times this would be scary :/ and make it more difficult as a hiker. I’ve encountered this problem at Mill stream run with bikers failing to yield/going wrong way, etc.

This trail sucks unless you like hiking alongside a road half the time.

A few areas had elevation, overall it was a nice trail and easy to follow. We crossed the creek since it was shallow but there was a bridge you can cross. The only downside was we had to cross three roads to continue on the trail.

We did this trail clockwise. This trail was very scenic. It got more difficult with hilly sections after crossing Tinker’s Creek the first time via a bridge, which was a little out of the way and not part of the planned route. There were way less people using the trail for the second half of this hike after crossing the creek. To complete this loop, you have to cross Tinker’s Creek again near the end. This time we had to wade through it and it was waist high with a moderately strong current. If you lose your footing here you could be carried down the creek and be in danger of hitting rocks. The only choice was either cross it, as we did, go back(not really going to do that after hiking about 7-8 miles, or do what looks to be a lengthy alternative route through some nearby neighborhoods until a bridge crossing is available. All Trails lists this as 6.4 miles but it was more than that. I recorded it as being over 8 miles with the added section with using the bridge for the first creek crossing about halfway through the hike. Overall, I very nice hike just be careful when crossing the creek near the end.

The trail was fun but very muddy since it rained this weekend. Will have to come back in drier weather.

Greatly enjoyed the mild to moderate hike with family and friends. Our outing was our way of safely venturing out during COVID-19. The trails are open and all can easily pass while maintaining safe physical distance. Dog owners were very respectful by following leash guidance. The “blue marked” trail is relatively easy with some elevation. Highly recommend a visit.

If you like to see a nice rocky creek with a waterfall, wildlife like Deer and several types of birds this trail is for you. This trail is mainly on a wide fire road which is great for horse riding yet you do have the option to take an alternate side trail that with less traffic and more natural trails. Plenty of parking at the trailhead with clean bathroom. Enjoy Amigos!

Great trail if you don’t mind getting wet. There are 2 creek crossings that went up to my knees, and I am 6 foot.

Always a great hike at Bedford Reservation! Tinkers Creek Gorge is absolutely beautiful! Too many people out today though but still a great time. Lots of ups and downs. who doesn't love a great hill, right?

Good loop but you gotta get wet! You have to cross 3 rivers: one I used a fallen tree, second river I literally had to take off my shoes and roll up my pants and cross with a long tree branch as the rapid water went up to my mid thigh (I’m 5’6) and was pretty dangerous not gonna lie), and then one you have to take roughly 3/4 mile detour around the stream to get to the road to cross. Through all the detours and trying to find the right way to cross, it came to 14.75 miles. Lots of bathrooms along the way and really only was muddy at the very end and you kinda just have to walk through the ankle deep stream. Very nice though! Totally would recommend.

Definitely not a beginners trail. It is very muddy and I would recommend multiple pairs of socks and good hiking boots. Have to cross the creek a couple times and your feet will get very wet as it is about ankle deep. Flowing water throughout majority of the trail and even some falls. Overall it is an awesome trail and I would recommend it to anybody with a little hiking experience.

I enjoyed this trail. we couldn't complete the loop due to rushing water. it was extremely muddy and we crossed the creek twice. All of this is to be expected for the time of year and the fact it rained for 2 days prior. It was still a great trail, and perfect trail to train for our 60 mile hike in the a few months.

Nice trail, only complaint is it crosses back and forth and runs along the road at some points for about 30% of the path

Fun trail to get outside for an hour or two. Close to roads most times so not secluded. But very well maintained.
