Beautiful trail. More like a nature walk.

it was ok, not what I would call a trail for the most part. some of the off trails, the nature trails were great but the ridges trail itself was mostly road/gravel and not what I consider a hiking trail more like a walk down the road and nothing is marked except the nature trail so be sure to download a photo of the trail maps

Nice trail, interesting history to the area. Should be rated moderate instead of easy in my opinion several steep uphills and down hills.

Pleasant fall hike. Unusual woods, very vine-covered. Much of the trail is along the edge of a field along the woods. Heavy undergrowth in the woods.

Shady, good views. It’s a little spooky if you’re familiar with the history of the vicinity. Good for spooktober

Great trail Started by dairy road. Went to the right to start. After coming to the second cemetery and up on the road never did find any more marks for the trail. So I missed a portion of the trail but will go back and do it again in the fall, and start at the other side, maybe I’ll figure out what I did wrong. but love my time out on the trail would do it again definitely!!

There is so much more to this trail than this map outlines. You can pick the trail up from multiple places ( Dairy Ln, SR 682, and the Ridges hospital. Lots of wildlife, great year round! Not to strenuous, although there are some ups and downs along what it call the nature walk.

Nice trail and well maintained. Take time to educate yourself about the hospital and graveyard. Supposedly in the top ten haunted places in the US. Spend some time reading the headstones in the graveyard, many only have a number, no name. Sad.

The first hiking experience on this loop is spooky if you take the time to learn the history of the area. After that, you learn it's a pretty good trail that is very well maintained. Spots like Radar Hill, the cemeteries, and the campus area makes this a fun hike.

Nice trail around the grounds of an old mental hospital that was built to treat shell shocked civil war veterans. The trail is not very long and windes through hills, graveyards, hospital buildings, and ponds.
