Tallgrass Prairie Trail is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Cincinnati, Ohio that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
It was a great short trail to hike. We saw Northern Cardinals, American Robins, and Eastern Towhees.
Great trail!!! Definitely kid friendly for a group of kiddos 4+ in age. Left this trail to go do another one!
Trail is open but the gates to drive up are not (due to COVID-19). We went around the back way, parked, and trekked .6 miles up the hill. The trail was 100% worth it. Easy to navigate for my almost 2 year old. Will definitely hike again
Took a short family hike on this trail with two six year olds. We loved it. the path is wide and it's easy because they have platforms over anything that's not already flat and wide. there are some steps on the platforms so it's not completely wheelchair accessible tho. Lots of pretty flowers and I appreciated the informational signs.
