Sweet Arrow Reserve Trail is a 3.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Bellbrook, Ohio that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips.
Note: off line map is recommended to get oriented as several users have reported that the colors of the markers are not continuous.
muddy but manageable. Trail markings are helpful at key intersections.
Saw wildlife, a variety of mature trees, a stream and prairie. Was noisy being winter and so near the highway and busy housing developments.
Definitely a nice local park, but if you’re looking for something secluded this isn’t for you. Most of the trail you have views of some houses or a nearby road. Mostly flat and easy though so not a bad quick stop.
Good easy trail, patches of forest to prairie, well taken care of and plenty of turns to choose from
muddy through several spots. be careful on the hills at the edges of the woodlines.
Nice trail with a few pretty water crossings. Only drawback is that you still hear the cars from the highway throughout the hike and all of the houses in sight. But still enjoyable!
Not bad but not great. The first 3/4 mile (if you start out going counterclockwise) is just walking through a field. The rest is mostly through the woods with a lil bit of prairies and more fields. This is also a combination of the many trails in this Reserve. You will see a ton of different colored arrows pointing you where they go...you bounce back and forth from them. There is a pretty cool large hollowed out tree next to the creek and a bunch of rock steps crossing over the creek. This place was also fairly crowded (mostly consisting of dog walkers) for a weekday afternoon in mid November. The only structure you'll see is a porta potty at the parking lot next to a few picnic tables. There are no benches anywhere along this mapped trail.
