Swan Creek Walk and Bike Path is a 3.3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Maumee, Ohio that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
In this park, you will find six different trails that are very well-maintained. Good for walking and cycling. The terrain varies between deep woods and plains that are home to plenty of deer. Accessibility: The trail surface varies between paved asphalt, gravel, and boardwalk bridges and is typically between four and eight feet wide. The estimated grade is mostly gentle (all 4% or less).
Good mostly paved trail. Way too crowded for my liking, but overall good.
Well maintained, paved 5k course. Good views of Swan Creek, and lots of deer sightings!
Beautifully maintained mostly paved trail. Some patchy ice in some spots, but I’m sure it will be covered in snow by tomorrow morning!
Dark at the start today. Had to wear the headlamp. Light snow falling but almost had the park to myself.
Love this short loop that takes me thru the Floodplain, Old growth Oak woods, and around the meadow.
Swan Creek is a great park in the Toledo area. Trails to accommodate bikes, walkers, and runners. Awesome views along Swan creek, big green space for frisbee or football, and a unique swing bridge on one of the trails. I completed the Swan creek trail and the Meadow view trail. I recommend checking this park out!
multiple areas with trails, each with its own vibe. paved multipurpose trail for bikes, kids, wheelchairs. primitive trail right along the creek. north trail is most secluded and has a great challenging hill toward the end. the swinging bridge sometimes closes when the creek rises but new signage makes it easy to tell when that's the case before you get too far.
