Flat, paved, easy, and very pretty. A little commercial for my taste but it was an easy trek around a beautiful lake.

My other half and I really enjoy this spot just to get outside and enjoy one another's company. The lake is very peaceful with a lot of geese, ducks, and some cranes here and there. The trail is paved with benches along the way. Depending on what day you go there can be a decent bit of traffic. They also have a fishing dock and paddle boats you can rent. I recommend this place if you want to go on a casual walk/run, or take the kids out. Pet friendly as long they're kept on a leash.

This is my families go to park!!! I personally love going to run but I do take my children more often than not they love the big hill and also the multiple playgrounds to break up the walk. Also a great place to ride bikes or to take the dogs as there is a dog park as well.

Awesome park, wish they would stop cutting down trees - really appreciate the shade in between the sunny bits. Watch out for snakes!

It's an average park/trail. Wish there were more maps/info on the trail, ways to use other non-paved trails that connect to the paved trail, to increase mileage. The times we've gone it's been extremely busy with walkers, joggers, bicyclists, dog walkers, people with babies/children etc It's too bad people don't pick up their dog waste, there was quite a bit on the paved trail and on the grassy sides. It's also too bad there is SO MUCH goose poop - it's literally - EVERYWHERE. I realize the park can't do much about that, but it's pretty disgusting. We've started going to Hudson Springs Park in Hudson instead...and using the loop trail (also 1.8 miles, although not paved and not flat...but a great walk), and it's much, much better in terms of the goose poop. Also more wooded, and folks seem to pick up their dog waste. May return to this trail in the cooler months when there are less people.

This is a regular for me as it's very close, the lake is very pretty and the path around it very easy although I prefer to go on the trails through the woods, you can easily do 4 to 5 miles on these

We love this park! I'm surprised they're are no reviews because it is quite popular with walkers, runners, dogs, children ect.
Let me start with the pros. First off, it's easily found and there is always parking. It's a loop so even if once around isn't enough, go again. The lake is beautiful even when frozen. Oh and yes we do still come in winter. Just to the right where the trees are cleared is a nice snow hill with stairs leading up. Memorial trees planted all around the lake in memory of loved ones. There are two playgrounds. An outhouse that's clean. Perfectly placed swings and benches to rest or nature watch. Workout equipment area. And last but not least, a dog park.

Cons. Can get crowded. Watch out for bikes and runners if you are taking your time. Also some people seem to forget that it's just not cool to leave your dogs waste on the path that people run on.
